Local garden stop always a joy

CategorIes:

Sometimes after a long day, I meander home the long way just to visit a Kansas City gem. The Ewing and Muriel Kauffman Memorial Garden is a public garden open all year long. I always make a note to visit several times a year so I can see how it changes throughout the seasons.

Spring flowers include tulips, hellebore, and beautiful bulbs planted carefully. Leading into summer annual plantings around the main fountains are definitely the focal area but also make sure a take look in the corners.

I always walk the garden the same way. I am never in a hurry. Blooms are everywhere, but also there is foliage, fruits, trees, water features, and decorative rocks.
